Our Story

Stylista

“Carefully chosen… so you’ll love it from the very first wear.”
More than 10,000 brides have been part of our story over the past 7 years.
At Stylista, every bride is like a sister to us before she is ever a customer. Every piece is carefully selected for its quality, fabric, design, and fit… just as if we were choosing it for ourselves.
We grew because of you… and we’re still growing with you.

The Stylista Story

Stylista’s story began before we ever had a store… it started while we were preparing for our own weddings.
Yasmin and I were shopping for our bridal essentials, and throughout the journey, we faced many situations that made the experience much harder than we had expected.
Fabrics that didn’t meet our expectations, pieces that arrived with defects, inaccurate calculations, and different experiences with sellers… sometimes we could return an item, sometimes we could exchange it, and sometimes there was simply no solution.
In the middle of all of this, we asked ourselves:
Why don’t we create the place we always wished we could find?
A place where we could help women while they prepare for their weddings, offer them products whose quality we truly trust, and treat them the way we always wished to be treated ourselves.
And that’s how Stylista began.

We launched our Online Store and started completely from scratch… and the beginning was much harder than we expected.
Eight full months passed without receiving a single order.
When our first order finally arrived, the happiness we felt was something I will never forget.
But even after that first order, the journey was far from easy.
Circumstances meant that Yasmin had to step away from the business, and suddenly I found myself facing a decision: either continue Stylista on my own… or let go of the dream.
I chose to continue.
Not long after, I met one of the first customers who truly made me feel that this dream might actually have a place. She was from Assiut and used to order a very large number of pieces every time.
Order after order made me start believing that Stylista could really grow, and that all of this effort could become a real brand.

But even then, every step was teaching me a new lesson.
Once, there was a particular style a customer wanted that wasn’t available, so I managed to source it especially for her. I bought it, prepared the order, and shipped it…
But the order was stolen during shipping.
The package reached the customer completely empty.
It was an incredibly difficult situation, especially because at that time I didn’t even have enough money to cover the cost of the stolen piece.
I was still at the very beginning, relying on borrowing the cost of each order, purchasing the products, selling and delivering them, and then returning the money I had borrowed.
Even so, I refunded the customer in full.
The loss was difficult, but that situation taught me something much more important than profit:
The trust a customer places in us is worth more than any order.

With time, Stylista began to grow step by step.
I started meeting more traders and suppliers, and I was determined not to simply rely on the products already available in the market. I wanted to understand the industry itself, to know where a product begins and how it is made.
And that led to my first trip to Turkey.
I visited many factories and suppliers, saw the production lines myself, explored catalogues, learned more about how the industry works, and began building direct relationships and agreements with factories and suppliers.
Those relationships didn’t just open a new door for Stylista; they also opened the door for us to work wholesale with other stores.
Many shops began depending on us because we were able to reach brands, styles, and suppliers that were not easy to access. This allowed us to provide store owners with products and selections they were not always able to source themselves.
I returned from Turkey with even more enthusiasm and a larger quantity of stock, and Stylista gradually began transforming from a business based mainly on individual orders into a place with a much wider range of products readily available.

After that, we decided to expand our selection further and introduce Egyptian products as well. Seasonal periods became a major turning point for us.
Demand increased significantly, and the volume of orders grew to the point where Stylista needed a full team to help prepare orders, communicate with customers, and manage shipping.
At the same time, Instagram began opening a completely new door for us.
We started reaching out to bloggers and sending them products, and more and more people began discovering Stylista.
The most beautiful part was that our own customers became one of the biggest reasons new customers found us.
One customer brought another… and one good experience led to the next.

With every step, I became more convinced that Stylista could be much more than just a page selling products.
I started thinking about the next step:
Creating our own products, with details and choices that we could fully decide ourselves.
From there, launching the Website marked the beginning of a new chapter in Stylista’s journey.
It wasn’t simply about having a place to sell our products. It was about creating our own space where we could build the next stage of the brand and introduce Stylista’s own products in a way that truly reflects the journey we started 7 years ago.

Stylista Today

Today, after 7 years, more than 10,000 brides served, and a community of over 50,000 followers that continues to grow, we are still committed to the same idea that Stylista was built on from the very beginning:
That every woman preparing for her wedding should feel reassured that she is dealing with someone who understands what she needs, chooses carefully for her, and values the trust she places in us.

Carefully chosen… so you’ll love it from the very first wear.
